Remodeling Process Scaffolding
Scaffolding set according to OSHA safety regulations and current standards. Protect surrounding areas with plastic, paper, and tape.
Remodeling Process Lathing application
The foundation of the system starts with a moisture barrier using waterproof building paper or 2 ply tar paper that is stapled to the studs on the house with galvanized metal lath.
Remodeling Process Brown coat
The second layer is the cementitious layer of strength, called the brown coat. The cement is combined with water and inert materials such as sand and fiber to help minimize cracking. Exposed metal at this stage is for the areas for stone application.

Remodeling Process Color finish coat
The final coat is applied by hand with a trowel and contains permanent color pigments and 100% acrylic polymers to provide the best performance and increase elastic properties of the finish coat.
